Triple R oil cleaner???

]Stumbled across some filters called Triple R filters... Two cases of them!

I'm really not sure where to put a post like this, so I'm sorry if this is not allowed, I'm hoping one of you may have remembered using these back in the day.

I also managed to find an entire dealer catalog, new letterheads, and various brochures and a book of receipts.

Would anyone here know anything about these filters? I've read a brochure and it mentions using a roll of toilet paper (?) As a replaceable filter cartridge? Seems like a cool system. Seems to have been around in the mid to late 60s.

I've never heard of Triple R but I do recall toilet paper oil filters (never used one). Supposedly they were much better filters than regular automotive oil filters. If it's the same outfit, Triple R is still in business, supplying industrial filters.

Thank you Dobie, I'm younger so have only been around newer stuff. Never heard about toilet paper oil filters! That got me on the right track, seems like they were a thing back then.

I looked it up and now see Frantz sells the same kit but I think updated. Seems like there are reviews of them clogging up with toilet paper, but a quick search seems like one can buy a drop in synthetic filter.
