Default Model A Generator Test

I some generators, could someone explain how to motorize them?

Remove the belt and put - battery voltage to the output stud.
If not mounted in the car, then also put + battery voltage to the mount.
It should spin slowly in the normal direction of rotation.

I have 4 generators, thought they were for the model A, none of them have a post on top, instead there are 2 wire coming out the top, what are have I got?

It kinda sounds to me as though you have '32 or newer gens.
