1952-53 rear end gears
I was wondering what the rear end ratios were used with overdrive and non overdrive cars? Also what about Fordomatics.

Re: 1952-53 rear end gears
If I was to put AOD transmission in my 53 with 3 speed overdrive, would I have to change the gears in the rear end?

For 1953 they have two options for each transmission choice. 3.90or 4.10 for standard trans., overdrive lists 4.10,3.90 and 3.54. Merco-matic 3.3 or optional 3.54.
