Default Torque tube dimension

Does anyone happen to know the correct total length of a late 32 torque tube with hexagon flange?

Thanks

Late tube, scalloped flange is 53 5/16". Over all length.

I know this has been posted, but is the late '32-'34 banjo casting axle centerline to torque tube flange dimension the same as the '35-'48 banjo casting? Or is it the same as the early '32? I've got CRS.

The '35-'48 dimension is approximately a 1/2" greater than all '32-'34.

Is the early 32/Model A dimension different as well from the 33-34?

Thanks 42merc for your help. Wish I could find some literature with pictures, dimensions etc. of all the rear ends 28/48 and what will interchange as well as mix and match. The green book is lacking in this regard.

Greetings

As a follow up, would using the (late 32 torque/drive shaft dimensions) with the late banjo, result in the rear wheels being moved rearward to the center of wheel well?

JMO, It seems the rear wheels in the stock position, usually appear to end up slightly forward of center wheel well.

I use '37-'40 rear ends with the stock torque tube cut to '32 dimensions.
I modify the '32 rear cross member to accept the '37-'40 spring, rather than grinding the spring, this centers the wheel more to my liking .
Every one has their own deal.

It's not so much an issue of the wheel being centered in the fender as it is of the banjo clearing the rear crossmember.

To make the wheel end up in the stock position, wouldn't you have to drop a plumb line from the rear x member center bolt, and also from the center of the axle on a stocker, then duplicate that dimension on whatever other banjo type rear you put under there? Seems like differences in the curved vs straight spring, where the shackles are in relation to the center of the axle housing all would come into play.

Personally, I like the rear wheel in the stock position, closer to the front of the fender opening. Makes it look like it is moving fast! Everyone likes different things though, centered wheels look odd to me.
