Default Schematic for Dana 41 differential in '48 F1

Howdy boys, I'm looking for a schematic for the Dana 41 that is in my '48 F1. I've looked hi and low, but can't find one. Plenty of Dana 41's for Jeeps, but nothing for a '48 F1. Where can I find one? Thanks guys, I need a few parts, and I want to make sure I get everything I need. So, I need a schematic.

Try Vanpelts web site:

FYI, you will get better response on the Early V8 forum.

Try looking in a Ford master parts manual 1950 big green book.

A lot of the bearing parts interchange with the Dana 44 but the carrier is smaller. The rear cap gasket is a little different due to the shape. The pinion seals vary over the years and some of the ones for the old units are harder to source but they are out there. If they go to pot, just use a later Dana 44 from an F1. Dana 44s were used so long that a lot of parts are still available for them.
