Default 1949 Ford Car Radio Preset Buttons

I finally got my radio working and now I need to rest the preset buttons. How do you do this? They don't want to pull out like the radios I am used to.

To set a station, choose a preset knob and unscrew it (counter-clockwise) a few turns. Tune to the station, push the knob in and release, tighten it.
