Ordering from 3rd Generation
I attempted to use 3rd Generations web site to order some parts and had numerous difficulties. Tried to use the on site email to no avail. So, I just called and talked to Michael. Great personal service! He is aware of some issues with the site and they are working on it. But, just to let others know, if all else fails, give them a call. It is worth the effort. Also as a note, not all of what they have is on their web site, so you may have to ask.
Thanks Michael! Last edited by JSeery; 06-03-2020 at 02:25 PM. |

Re: Ordering from 3rd Generation
Thanks!
The website is new territory for me and while I'm struggling with it, eventually we will get it up to snuff. I enjoy the phone calls and personal interactions regardless. |

Re: Ordering from 3rd Generation
I recently ordered some new distributor parts from 3rd Gen. Great service and product, arrived timely and undamaged. Sometimes it's easier to just make a phone call, online order forms can become a pain to fill out and confirm.
Thanks Michael, will be calling again when in need. |

Not a big order, but stuff I really need to get. I was going to go to procrastinators anonymous last week, but I never got around to it. |

Re: Ordering from 3rd Generation
Here is the online site link: https://thirdgenauto.com/
However it is a work in progress per Michael. They carry parts that are not on the site and the online order service didn't work for me. A phone call is the best way to go. Michael is also in the process of taking over Rod Nacewiez's bolt supply. Believe he is still using the old site http://fordscript.com/ Roy Nacewicz Enterprises also known as Fordbolts.com, is your premier source for correct bolts, nuts and locks, as well as other authentic hardware and related products for 1928 to 1953 Ford and Mercury restoration projects. Our kits feature thick head unmarked bolts in correct thread count, length, etc., all in original Ford specified finishes. Let us add some enjoyment to the assembly portion of your restoration or traditional rod building experience. Last edited by JSeery; 06-05-2020 at 01:56 PM. |
