Default Not Model A - 1910 Chalmers-Detroit - Fairbanks Alaska

It was between -10 and -20 (F) yesterday here in Fairbanks, Alaska

A 1910 Chalmers-Detroit owned and driven by Jeff Creamer carrying Anna Creamer and Alaska Native veteran Benno Cleveland breaks through the ribbon as the first car to cross the new Veterans' Memorial Bridge or commonly known as the Barnette Street bridge Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, over the Chena River downtown. The car has the honors of being the first car to cross the new Wendell Street bridge in 1953 and the new Cushman Street bridge in 1960.

Thanks so much for sharing, I remember the bridge well, I spent 18 months at Fort Wainwright with the 40th Armor. And those winter temps. too...

Thanks again, Jim
