1938 standard coupe hood emblem

hi all, just trying to fit my hood emblem and handle, but looks like i am missing a washer of some kind to allow the emblem to secure to the hood. not at the 85 badge end, but up by the hood handle end. does anyone have a picture of one so i know what im looking for.

I don't know if these help, but I can get more. I didn't have a light at the time to take pic underneath the part of he hood that contains the latch.
