Default 1933-34 Zenith Carburetor ?

I have a C carburetor, small float and baffle cast in bowl, there is no seat for connecting the gas line to the carburetor, there are threads that match the mounting of the side bowl on a 1931 late carburetor. I happen to have a spare late 31 side bowl and it mounts just fine.

I was told that Zenith actually built C carburetors that accepts the side bowl as there was no in line filter between the gas tank and carburetor on the 33-34 vehicles ?

Does anyone have any information on this modification or have a similar C carburetor ?

Thanks in advance,

Ron

Ron, I use a sediment bowl on the B carb, works well where one wouldn't exist otherwise with the indented firewall

Dave,

Is your carburetor a Zenith B (1932) or the later C ? Was the threads existing or did you have to modify the housing to mount the side bowl ?

I call it a B1 though the back up carb is a B2, not sure what a C carb is, the threads were existent, coincidently. Interesting how that works.
