He had that pump at our local V8 club meeting last week. The two flanges of the pulley weren't the same thickness. The front flange was thin and the rear flange was thick. Somebody screwed up when they made the pulley. Eventually the thin flange failed.

Beautiful - the pictures, the cars, the scenery. Many thanks for sharing. I spent a little over 6 months in the Umpqua Valley in 1994 & 1995. A beautiful place but it sure rains a lot in winter.

Very nice pictures and enjoyed very much. That 39 green Conv. was mine at one time. The same thing happen to me on the Glidden tour. Those water pumps are Skips pumps.George Mitchell help me put them on while on the Glidden tour.I had the whole pully come off. George had those under his seat.I sent the old ones to Skip. That been a few years ago. that car would run.
