Default Christmas present from New Zealand

One of the best things about this hobby is there are no shortage of items we can give ourselves, or others. I want to thank Chris in New Zealand for selling me a pair of 1937 fender skirts, packaged well and arriving unmolested. Since they are made out of unobtainium, I had a little worry about the transit but they arrived in perfect shape.

My pleasure - they have gone back to a good home where they will be well loved.

Chris is a good man. I am not surprised at all that you were pleased.

It's nice to help out friends - I understand your worry about transit -since almost all my stuff travels the reverse way from the States to New Zealand.
Bet the postage cost came as a shock -! Merry Christmas to all -Karl

Postage was $218 NZD including tracking and insurance - actually not too bad.

That's pretty good -When I sent my Radio to Florida to get worked on DHL charged me $440 NZD . The ironic thing was they charged me $150 NZD to get it to me from the States - Go figure
