Default 1940 ford cpe

does anybody have a pic of the trunk handle assy my handle worked good till the other day now it just turns but can feel like something let go any way to open without going though trunk im old and fat might have to hire neighbor hood kid

If it's a repo handle the lock cylinder has come loose and allowed part of the locking mechanism to fall out. a common problem with repo handles. I've had to repair three of them(two for myself and one for a friend). What falls out is a small square block of metal that moves downward to lock the handle in place.
