D(AL)-

When I was looking for a place to install a cut-off switch I didn't want to drill a hole in the floorpan nor did I want to drill a hole in the firewall. The only place left was the engine compartment, which worked out great. I didn't need to drill any holes I only needed to use existing frame holes. A simple bracket and one short cable and I was in business. One neat thing about its' location is it allows for easy battery charger or battery tender hook-up without having to pull up the floor mat, remove the battery cover and leave the door open.

With the battery under the seat the best place is the seat riser under the front of the seat. You need a few short cables to put it in the POS side between the battery and ground. You don't want a cheap shut off, they will give you problems on 6 volts. Bob Shewman the flex hose guy has a real good one that can mount on the battery terminal or on the seat riser. You don't want a battery mounted one on the battery's that are under the floor. Contact Bob at [email protected] or 1-610=933-6637 G.M.
