Loved the video-I would keep the chair-most likely more comfortable than the original seats. I have done the same thing-except I use a folding lawn chair. Looks great-keep up the good work.

Yes, well done Dick. A pleasurable moment.
However you've left me with Workshop Envy and Multiple-A Envy.

What broke as you came back in?

The clutch was engaged and would not release, came back shop and adjusted the slop out and it is working just fine..do not know why adjustment let go from first setup..

Yep, that's the only thing I can think of why the clutch all of a sudden lost adjustment.

It's usually the outer shaft arm that cracks, but I do have an inner fork with a crack also.

Thanks for sharing that great moment of the first ride! I started restoration recently on one of my A's. It use to belong to my dad so it has been in the family for many years. I took it apart in 2000 and finally started working on it. I can't wait to get to your stage. Enjoy!

It is soooooo satisfying to get a car running after a long build time. In May, I got my '29 cabriolet running again after a summer 2010 rebuild start. I am still doing shakedown driving, did about thirty miles this last week. It is still a thrill with each bit of driving.

Congratulations!

PM with photos sent. Don't want to crash your thread, and my car is too far from a pure restoration to be welcomed here.
