Default Fast n Loud

If you can believe it, the guy on the show just sold an original restored 36 3 window that looked pretty good at auction for $33k. I haven't seen one that cheap before.

I guess we'll get that episode of the show this side of The Pond sometime in the next year.

Just wish he'd buy a woodie and the guy with the beard would get a shave!!!

I noticed that the auction house of course egged him on to take the loss....given how he does other cars unclear how good this one really was

BTW I noticed Barett Jackson has dropped there NO Reserve requirement ...too many Duesenbergs goings for half price in the old "No Reserve Only" system

These auctions are hit or miss. I did not see what all was there. If people are not there for cars like this. Then they won't bring the money. All so cars are not bringing now what they were a few years ago. It's hard to make money right now. For sure if you are living off your investments from retirement. We need interest rates to go way up. Until the economy gets better I think people will be holding in to their money. Or putting it into something that they know will make money. I have pulled all most everything out of savings. I can make much more money of cows right now.

If the 36 coupe was done like most of the junk on Fast and Loud, that was probably all it was worth. I don't understand how they could cobble up classic cars like they do.

Supposedly they didn't touch the 36. Just bought it and held onto it.

Hey Tex, I'm confused... What's the definition of an "original restored"?

I agree, the mess they make of some of the projects... It's all just for the camera, about as real as any other "reality" show.

Original and rare are the most over used words in selling old cars. It's like you see on ebay. Rare model a sedan. Everyone's is rare when they go to sell it. It's hard to find a original car. What constitutes original? Is it everything the way it was? Nothing being replaced or repainted? Or is it still all original parts that came with it? That have been redone or maybe a few nos parts thrown in.

At least they show that you can't make tons of money off restoring cars all the time.

A thinly disguised people drama show masquerading as a car show that’s only apparent goal is to make car people look like retards.

It's like those survival and swamp shows where they say they could die there waiting to be found....yeah right. Bet the camera crew has dinner plans.... I have yet to see a car show I like. They are all about personalities etc. Like the show when they found an original olds and decided they had to rod it because they couldn't make an auction in several days if they had to rebuild the motor. Some producer idiot recently decided it would be more real if he lost money. Who the hell take most of their cars to an auction? I guess the same guys who take a rare item to a pawn shop and take 50% of retail

I think most auctions are for people just trying to make back a chunk of what they over spent on their car. With labor so high these days. The people that pay to have all the work done. Are the ones selling at a auction selling a car they have 80k in for 45k.

Yeah, I really like the show for the comical aspect, and they are great at losing money, but I'm sure that's one other reason they are doing to have the money to buy the cars they do and try and flip them for a profit. Like the Bronco? $55,000 really hard to believe even thought it looked good after the 88% rust factor and replacement. In the end the guy cut him a check for $45,000 still? But the show beats the time when there is nothing else on, anything related to auto's is up my alley.
All girls garage, Gearz, Truck U, chasing classic cars, wreck to riches, that reality show in texas? Texas car wars something like that. But your correct they kind of twisted his hand in lifting the reserve..., they say that usually get people to bid just that much more, but this time it didn't work out, for ol' Richard Rawlings, and Aaron.

I was referring to not a hot rodded mess like most cars they work on. Looked restored from the 20 foot brief glimpse and 36 wheels it had.
