Default Coachettes by Holdens

Just reading the Restorer V59 I3 and the article from Australia about the Phaeton that has glass sliding windows that were branded as Coachettes by Holdens does anyone have any information about these and or instructions / patens for them please

Are they sliding windows, or are the side windows hinged vertically down the centre and swing in on to itself to have a half width opening. I have seen the latter on various vintage cars here in Oz, but none on an A. Ford Aust. built their own phaeton bodies, as well as some direct imports from Canada..

That's a coincidence. I snapped a photo of this hinged style of side curtain (as opposed to a solid type window) on a survivor Dodge on display at the "100 Years of Dodge" section of the Bendigo National Swap Meet, earlier in November. I hadn't seen these before. Looks rather theatrical, like you'd expect a Punch and Judy show to be performed from inside the car.
