Bill, It's never too late. Thanks for the reminder, I've been solisiting donations and we've had several new providers step up but we could still use some more. So, like I've said in previous post; if you got something Flathead related, collecting dust in the garage, like that Pines grill set for the '36...

Why not donate it for the "Barner's Bash" raffle? If you would like to donate please PM or email me at: [email protected]. As always, we appreciate your participation. Vic

On Saturday, March 17th, as part of the “Barner’s Bash”, we'll be attending Billetproof at "Big Daddy" Don Garlits Museum in Ocala, it’s like two shows in one. If you've never been to Don Garlits Museum, you're in for a real treat plus, the grounds will be filled with traditional hot rods and customs, etc. If you are driving a flathead or other vintage car or truck to the "Barner's Bash", and you'd like to show the vehicle at Billetproof, you'll need to register. You can Google Billetproof Florida and find the web site for info or you can register at the gate. Pre registration cost $30.00 and at the gate it will cost you $35.00.

Thanks for the update Vic! That car looks super. Is that a Lincoln Zephyr? The top looks a bit different than other zephyr convertables I have seen in the past.

I am wondering if you know of any other car shows in southern FL, either before or after the Barner's gathering, besides Amelia Island? Which btw, at this time I am seriously thinking about attending.

John, the car is a 40's or early 50's custom, the fenders look like a '39 or '40 Ford and a '39 Standard hood, the rear deck with the large (rumble seat?) lid looks like it came from a Chrysler, or Packard, etc... The top is a custom Carson style. Henry ('36 Phaeton) is also thinking about going to Amelia, if you go, give me a call on my cell phone, maybe we can arrange to meet. As for other car shows, there's only one worth going to, the "Barner's Bash"...LOL. See you in Florida. Vic
