Default Moving along the suspension/steering, spindle ball stud?

I have my spindles coming back to me today, with new bushings pressed in and honed. Now, I just ordered a ball stud for the left spindle, but... Should any machine shop, or suspension shop be able to press out the old one, and press in the new one? The old one has a sort of pinwheel looking hammering mark on it. Where it was swaged on I guess? The new one looks to be splined, so does it just get pressed in, or does it also need to be swaged? I ordered in from Dennis Carpenter, so I am hoping it's a quality piece without a lot of hassle. Let me know if you know? Thanks:-).

Estimated ride height for the beast. Without spindles it was a close guess. Good enough for me.

No one has ever replaced one of these before?

When I did mine, I had to drill out the original stud, after grinding the swaging off. I drilled it, then was able to press it out. I pressed in the replacement and peened the back side. Some guys tack weld it; I peened it.

So yes, any competent machine shop should be able to do it.
