Are all small loop oil dipsticks repops?
I have a 1940 diamond block in my car. It has a small loop dipstick and leaks oil till it gets to the low side of the range. I saw a ebay sale(linked below) of large loops dipsticks and a round loop. The round being about .5 to 1 inch shorter than the large loop. It listed the round loop as late model. Question being are round loop late model or just reproduction? I plan to get a large loop stick when I find one. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Model-A-Dip...8AAOSwLSZb1y7N

The larger bayonet style was used early in production until it was switched to that round hole dipstick in January 1929, which was used to the end of production.
