Default Rear Backing Plate E-Brake Guide Tube

I need to replace the tubes in the rear backing plates which guide the handbrake cable. I was about to get some tubing and fabricate a pair but then got to wondering – is a quality repro available?

C & G Show one then say discontinued and say has to be welded to backing plate so maybe just as well to make your own. Shows to have a slight bend.

I made my own using steel tubing. Brazed them back in place on the backing plates. Soldered a brass ferrule near the end of each tube and then flared ends of the tubes to hold the rubber boots in place. It would be difficult to tell these are not original.

Thanks for the lead. I also checked Sacramento Vintage - the one in their on-line catalog is also discontinued. Curiously, the Sacramento photo shows a slightly different tube than C&G's catalog, with two bends, more like the original.
