When I was a kid they were called Chinese Gooseberries. and I used to steel them by the sack full.

What a shame to see that.
At take-off, as soon as they got air borne it was gear up, hit the AB (after burners) rotate to 90, sweep wings back and climb straight up to 25-30K.
The hot shots would spin all the way up...it was a sight to behold.

We're sending over a humungus dust cloud. Been a bit warm and dry here.

Been having more rain than usual here in northern California. Can't wait to get to the Ballarat swap meet next week! Been there a couple dozen times, and great to go from cold to warm if not hot,sometimes more!
