Default Hood ID?

Posted this on the Fordbarn and they narrowed it down to 28/29 Model A but thought one of you could put it spot on.

Need to know what it is before trying to sell it.

Thanks,

Fourdy

I might be wrong, but because of the two ribs on the top panel, and the style of the handle, it could be for a 28-29 Briggs.

Tom hit the nail on the head. I think you'd be in for a surprise if you tried to mount that hood on a 30-31...

Given you have both answers here--- measure it to be sure-- I have seen vents of several types on both series of hoods.

28-29 is 26 3/4" top rib- front to back and 28 1/4" front to back on sides.
30-31 is 30 7/16" top rib and 31" front to back on the sides.

My 1929 Murry Town Sedan had a hood that looked like that.
