My Canadian 42 ford has a plate on the drivers side side of the dash Model 21-11 Trim - 18001-E, paint M-3947 , Side windows are one piece, Ford scrip at back of hood .no bolts shown in running boards .Air force Blue out side and seats are army brown color, a jerry can on right fender, .In Canada a civilian could only buy a 3/4 ton ..The army and Government bought 1/2 tons . I have a1942 Fordson N tractor bomb hauler the same blue paint as the truck .

We always called this one a 46 Ford. Canadian built and it has the Ford script on hood. One piece side windows. I've never seen any identification plates on it. I still have it but the cab is no longer on the chassis.

Here’s a pic of my late Father-in-laws 42. It also has the Ford script hood and was completely original when he got it. It was the Fire Chief’s truck in Mayhill, NM where he grew up. Was his daily driver until he passed. -Matt

I've had both '42 & '47.
Never have seen one with wipers over the windshield like the Russky one.

i just checked the hood that has been hanging on the wall in my barn for at least 20 yrs. and it has no script or holes for emblem. it looks as it is painted o.d. green. if anyone has a need for one like it, PM. me. it is in fair condition. Mark
