Shocked
I just bought a Modern Model A Shock Kit, used, from the swap section. I was thinking I could use these until I saved enough pennies for the real deal. However, the kit appears to be missing the connection from the lower end of the rear shock to the ? axel, original shock attachment?, sky hook?
Yes, I have contacted the seller and he is zero help (yep, caveat emptor). So can someone tell me how the rear shock attaches and if there is a missing bracket where I might find one? Or just check the "Fat Chance" box below and laugh out loud. [] |

Re: Shocked
Looks all there to me. The shock on the left bolts on the front. The grooved block sandwiches the front axle beam. The shock on the right is used on the rear with one of those brackets that attached to the backing plate bolts. The spacers on the shock bolt are to keep it from rubbing on the rear crossmember. This kit was designed to have a hole drilled into the rear crossmember for the upper mount.

Re: Shocked
Looks very similar to a snyder's kit I just bought. Full instructions on their website under the shock section.
