Default 34 truck grill

Hello, I’m building a 34 pickup, I was able to find a real nice grill shell for the truck but it is missing the lower grill pan. Does anyone know if a 32 truck grill shell lower pan will fit? Called UPI on the one they make, but they can’t answer the question because they are working from home! Thanks in advance. Nick

If you are talking about the section behind the grille bars it was originally spot welded in place. No repos.Try to find a junk grille and use that section .Most of the time they rusted out at the bottom. No idea if a '32 will fit.
Here is an beat up original listed

I believe the UPI one would be close enough to make work. I've got a couple '34 commercials & '32 commercial shells in the shop and they look very close if not the same.

Hey RocketsGarage, thanks that makes feel better. I’ll pull the trigger on the on on eBay and like you said if it takes a bit of finessing, so be it. Thanks again

The '32 pan is different from the '33/34 pan, but the outer profile may be the same where it fits into the grill shell. The '32 pan has a single crank hole. The '33/34 have two.

Mike, thanks for the pics., should be getting the pui piece this week and will see if it fits. Think I might be able to cut in the crank holes, first thing is the fit.

Well I received the UPI 32 lower grill shell lower pan. Dimensionally it will fit the 34 shell, but as Mike stated the crank hole is different, that will be easier to fix than fabricating from scratch with no pattern. Thanks for all the help. Nick
