Default Top radiator hose diameter?

Does anyone know off-hand the internal diameter of the top radiator hose? Thanks.

The one I bought from Vintique that is somewhat oversize and leaks no mater how tight the clamps are.

Thanks anyway, Tom!

And Fullrace, there's whole threads on this problem, with a variety of solutions offered. Check 'em out.

The reason I wanted to know in a hurry was that I was at my local (multi-marque) club meeting last night talking to a bloke about his late 20s Oakland and how he can't get it to run hot enough. He was interested in the Model A solution of the thermostat in the top rad hose. I think his hose will be too narrow to fit a Model A thermostat, but the Model T units that sit on the cylinder head water outlet may offer a solution, with a bit of creativity. Anyway, I've passed all this on to him and he's a way better engineer than I'll ever be, so I'm sure he'll find a way.
