Hey Ol' Ron,
You are a neat guy and I am impressed that you straightened this thread out in your own fashion! Proves that only a buddy like you would know the good intentions of a great buddy like (George) the one who started this thread. Happy B-Day to you and don't change your grumpy assed ol' self one bit !
BTW...If you'd rather talk about cams...I'm good listener!!

Happy Birthday Ron! We met this past winter when I stopped up during one of the nastier snowstorms to buy an 8BA crank. Thank you for autographing my copy of 'Nostalgia' at the same time. The engine is still a project so nothing to report. Wishing you many Happy Birthdays yet to come. Dave

Ron: I am 1 year behind you and I started my experience with a 38 Ford 85hp V8. My high school auto mechs teacher advised me on how to pull the oil pan to replace the core plugs not too long after acquiring the car. Got the job done. Learned much about that car. I later acquired a 38 Ford Phaeton, which I restored from ground up. I recall painting the frame in the driveway and neighbor attempted to clean off the overspray with Amway - no good. Rain and sunshine took care of the overspray. In any event I have enjoyed giving attention to the Phaeton by constantly improving it and using the knowledge that I have acquiring from the contributors to Fordbarn, including you. Your posts are very informative and smooth. You are to be commended for your efforts and how you handle people. Best Wishes on your birthday and hope and trust that you will be able to continue long into the future.

Bill
