I am not a big fan of Mac's either. I have not had real bad luck with them, it is just other vendors like Bert's and Bratton's, as far as I am concerned, are better parts suppliers.

WOW, I've ordered from them and had good luck, I guess I was just lucky. I'm in Vermont and shipping was never more than just a few days. Had an issue with a gallon of cleaner they shipped me, I called them and they shipped me a new gallon,no problems at all.

I've ordered from Mac's in the past and can't complain about the product or prices. They aren't my primary source of parts however.

Eckler's on the other hand has been a pain in my ass on occasion. I've dealt heavily with them on Mercedes & Corvette parts.

I had very good luck with Macs. Some of the people that work in Tech don't know too much about the parts or applications of the parts, they just read out of the catolog. There shipping cost is'nt bad in my opinion. On the other hand Brattons charge me $11.00 shipping for 3 sets of starter stud nuts and washers, what do they weigh 4 ounces? Come on !!!!!

I have always used them for certain parts. Interior screws, Viton tipped float valves and such. Always prompt and well packed. New crew will have to work to keep value and quality up.

Obviously a clear message to the new owners ! Many people ( majority ) were not happy with Mac's and you will have to make major changes or see the customer base decrease further .

I know some of the parts suppliers occasion these forums sometimes and when they do I'm sure that they learn a lot.
