Default Black edges on window glass

My neighbor has a 36 five window and is looking for a source of the door glass and wind wings that has the black edges as per the factory

Sanders Glass on the left coast used to be able to supply such.
Always had good luck with them in the past.

Wonder if applying black acrylic enamel on glass edge and wiping off excess would work?
Would chip................over time?

I've had great success with both lacquer and dollar store black felt tip pens, the latter the best of the two as its gloss is a perfect duplicate of the original and it is easier to control in application. Unlike paint, it won't chip.
