Brake hardware parts
Does anyone know if the brake star wheel adjusting mechanism for later model cars, say around 1975 or so would work in a 1957 rear end brake setup? I finally got around to rebuilding the brakes on my 57 rearend but I have lost the star wheel adjustment mechanisms and the wheel cylinder push rods.I can't find them new but I can find them for 1975 models.

Re: Brake hardware parts
You can get them from any of the early Ford suppliers like Carpenter and they may be available from any auto supplier.

Re: Brake hardware parts
Can't see any reason why they wouldn't, as long as they're the same length. Are you changing over to self adjusting brakes while you're at it??
