Default 1959 Edsel

Hi All,
Thinking of buying 1959 Edsel Ranger 2dr sedan. It needs the headliner, carpets and heater core replaced. Anyone know if parts from a 59 Ford or other year model Fords will interchange?

Thank you in advance for any help.

The 59 EDSEL was simply a re-skinned 59 FORD. Most mechanicals will be the same. The trouble is, EDSEL DIV had its own separate PARTS CATALOGING. You would need that to find what is interchangeable or not.

All the soft goods are 59 Ford from comparable models. The 58 Ranger and Pacer were the same with respect to frame, floor pans, glass and soft goods. The Corsair and Citation lines were 58 Mercury with respect to the same items.

Thank you everyone for the help, very much appreciated.

Never owned a Edsel before, just thought it would be cool to drive a car that's not seen as often. A big plus is that it's a Ford product.
Will know this coming week-end if I'll be a Edsel owner, fingers crossed.

Here are some illustrations of the 1959 Edsel Corsair and Edsel Ranger models. For 1959, they were all Ford based.
