Default 1935 ford wire wheels

today i had a 35 ford in for brake adj. i noticed all the valve stems on the rims were on the inside faceing the center of the car has any one ever seen this i sure havent

I have never seen that. Any chance someone widened the rims and put them together wrong?

I’ve never heard of reversed wire wheels. This is what it should look like;

Where did you get that spacer from? How thick is it and what year car are you putting those rims on? Is it needed?

That spacer or support is needed when putting 32-35 wire wheels on the hydraulic drums.Speedway sells them.

Maybe these wheels were the type with bolt in removable spokes and someone assembled them backwards?
