Default KRW engine stand adaptor

A friend of mine has this KRW engine stand adaptor but we don't know what it is used for. No markings on it except KR Wilson.
Does anyone know what it's used for?

If you enlarge the first picture, it looks like it has "KRW 8N" on it so I would guess it is to hold some tractor part.

That was also my first thinking, but in fact it's marked KR Wilson.

Can it be an adaptor for another engine brand than Ford/Lincoln originating from the period when Manzel aquired KR Wilson? I've searched but haven't found any on line Manzel tool catalogs from the 1950s to look in.

I have been told it looks very much like an adapter for a Y-block. Maybe measure C to C the holes and then look on the side of a Y-block for holes the same distance apart. Maybe you could post the distance between the 2 holes on the bracket that look like mounting holes. I bet someone would find something that matches.

I’ve got one very similar to it but mine is aluminum made by Manzel. It’s for mid 50s six cylinder.

Yes, you are right, it's for the Y-block! It's listed in the late KRW catalog no. 59.

Thanks!
