KRW engine stand adaptor
A friend of mine has this KRW engine stand adaptor but we don't know what it is used for. No markings on it except KR Wilson.
Does anyone know what it's used for? |

Re: KRW engine stand adaptor
If you enlarge the first picture, it looks like it has "KRW 8N" on it so I would guess it is to hold some tractor part.

That was also my first thinking, but in fact it's marked KR Wilson. Can it be an adaptor for another engine brand than Ford/Lincoln originating from the period when Manzel aquired KR Wilson? I've searched but haven't found any on line Manzel tool catalogs from the 1950s to look in. Last edited by BlueNotes; 06-19-2022 at 01:40 PM. Reason: Adding text. |

Re: KRW engine stand adaptor
I’ve got one very similar to it but mine is aluminum made by Manzel. It’s for mid 50s six cylinder.

Yes, you are right, it's for the Y-block! It's listed in the late KRW catalog no. 59. Thanks! |
