Default Dimmer Switch

My 38 has replacement floorboards not drilled for dimmer switch.
I have seen photos showing location… looks to be centered between clutch/brake pedals.

Could someone provide location measurements and indicate if switch is mounted on the interior (top) or underside (bottom) of floorboard?

As always….THANK YOU!!!!

Steve

Appears the dimmer was on the left until 12-37 and then moved to between the pedals and slightly below them.

Thanks Terry. I did read that in the 1938-39 Ford facts book.
I’m looking for measurements and how switch was mounted (see original post).
Thanks!!!
Steve

You can contact the Benson Ford Research Center and order a copy of the engineering drawing for the floorboard. I did this for my 1937 car and made new floorboards from the drawings. It cost $30 per drawing when I did it a couple of years ago.

It should mount below the floor boards.
