Yes I noted that also and am pleased that these points are able to be verified.

I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to own this car.
But it was with great help and assistance from KiwinUS Tony who knew of this car and the possibility it may be for sale. He had actually seen the car and his endorsement was good enough to proceed with purchase.
All through this great FORD BARN SITE.

This is a stunning car. Maybe one of a kind. I will probably regret not buying it myself but have had a year to have done so. Timing was everything and I am so happy for Phil. I will make a point of going to see car once again as soon as the New Zealand “Leader” will let me in that great country. Phil is going to be even happier once he sees car. It is even nicer than pics show. Enjoy.

No radio is a good thing! radios drown out the flathead running music.
All you ever need. Yes?

Is there a reason you are shipping from US East coast to NZ.
Why not West coast?
I have some stuff to go to NZ. John

Yep.shipping from East Coast to NZ as NC is on East Coast As is New Jersey.
Shipping from West Coast is a large added cost to ship across East to Wesr Coast. As advised by shipper Kiwi Shipping.

That is a great looking car, in my favorite 38-39 color Dartmouth green.
I have a a question related to getting stuff to NZ: I would like to send the overdrive bits for a 49-50 transmission to a friend in the Napier region, but don't want to pay freight on just those parts. Can someone let me know well in advance when something is headed to NZ so I can toss my parts in too?

I'm working with a fellow in NZ to ship parts.
What do you have to ship?
John

I'm looking to send the parts needed to convert a standard 3 speed to an overdrive transmission. The main shaft, adapter plate, extension housing, planetary gears, output shaft, a solenoid, a governor, and a few miscellaneous bits. Basically the back half of an overdrive three speed transmission.

Nothing like that sweet flathead idle, no working radio in my ‘41 either, it’s only in the dash for looks.

Great car post more pictures and video when you get it.
