They are in PA, but as heads up, I checked with them on CVRs and they were way expensive, plus the shipping was also up there. There are other sources that seem more reasonable.

What are you trying to power or reduce the voltage to?

There was a post by 19Fordy on the barn about how he converted his '40 gauges using and inexpensive CVR. I fi can find it, I will post it. Good ? by Angledrive.

Is the Ford Instrument Voltage regulator the one you are looking for? They were used in 57 and up Fords (don't know when they stopped (80's sometime). These should be available in a parts store. Dennis Carpenter has them. One for a 65 Mustang is 21.95 . There was a couple of different designs over the years, but as far as I know preformed the same function. 10804 is the group number

I use an electronic unit I purchase from NPD for gauges. Part number 10804-1E, 39.95.

I have used them before and they work real well. (one for each gauge)
they cost about 20 bucks each.
They also carry another reducer that will handle 3 gauges.

P.S. It can also correct a Amp gauge if you are running one.

Found my notes, Ron Francis wanted $61.95 plus $15. shipping for a CVR-1. "19Fordy on this site did a great "how to" on 2/5/2014 in response to a post by Roger W Gerow entitled "converting instrument voltage". That's the blueprint I am using.

Does anyone know why the Runtz devices must be used one to a gauge. The Runtz devices are rated at 4 amps each and the Ford King Seeley gauges use about 1/10 amp each.

Most of the conversions use the CVR-1 like 19Fordy did, vs the Runtz because you have to get one for ea gauge.

I used this on my 51 and it repeatedly everheated and shut off. It would later work but shut off again. Not sure where you could mount it to prevent this. I use the runtz now and they work well.
