Default 1936 Ford Sedan Spindles

I have a 36 Street Rod with front Lowering Spindles. The car is to low on the front. I want to raised it up in the front 2-3 inches. The car has everything Ford with a mustang 2 front end. What should I do to raise the car. QA1 shocks and coilovers or find a stock spindle. If so what spindle should I use. Thanks. I need some help.

36 spindles are not going to help you any, you need mustang spindles.

I was looking online at mustang 2 spondles. Do recommend a particular brand. How much do you think the front will raise up. It's so low I can't get a front wheel alignment. Thanks.

I'm not sure, you need to determine what you have now and compare that to a stock spindle.

Just did a search online for mustang II spindles, there are a lot of images with dimensions. Might be able to figure out what you have from that information. A street rod site might be more helpful as to what works best.

A stock Mustang II spindle should raise your car 2 inches. I rarely sold the dropped spindles on any of the 35/40 customer chassis that we built in our shop as they just seemed to low for most drivers

X2. If you have the dropped spindles get rid of them at the next swap meet. Go with the stock style or a good pair of used OEM spindles.

I'd just hunt for a nice pair of OEM spindles. Clean them up. have them Magnafluxed just for peace of mind and install them. I see them at swap meets for just a few dollars. I actually used to throw them away at one time. Check E-Bay lots of spindles on there but make sure they're forged. You may need a different caliper mounting kit?

The swapmeets we have here in MD. Don't usually have street Rod parts. I will check eBay. Thanks

You going to run the same tires? You could probable raise it a few inches with some decent tires. Welcome to the new Ford barn...

It looks like it needs a combination of taller tires and stock mustang II spindles to me. Just tires may create a clearance issue with the fender.

Slant, I have a set of stock height M2 spindles from a Heidts kit I would sell if interested, let me know and I will dig them out of the attic to measure.
