Hi; I have to ship- no swaps now, but what about the fake 'buyers' who get me to box it, and go 'dark' when they see the shipping? about 16 of them in 2 yrs. Newc

I have been buying a few 46 Ford parts this year from various people on Ford Barn and as I live in Australia shipping can get very expensive if you want it sent to your home.
So I get everything sent to one location in Compton CA , it goes in a container and I get it delivered all in one go, I have 16 items coming over at this stage I am not in a hurry and should see the parts sometime next year, I am cool with that, paying shipping to Compton on average cost about $20, if it came direct it would be $80+
Just the way I do it.

I brought a sign on exxx a couple of years back from Canada and had it sent to me in NZ.
I received it on its 3rd trip to NZ.
The parcel had a birthday on its way out the last time but i did finally get it after all sorts of excuses from both countries Postal agencies.

Vic, your one of the lucky ones. Before my son in law retired from the air force, I would send stuff to them & pick it up on my trips to visit. Alaska Air treated me really good with my checked in baggage back then. It was great when they were stationed in California for 7 years. Bill

You might try member "Tony Martino" on this forum. I got 5 of these from him a couple of years ago. I am not familiar with New York zip codes, but he is in Kingston, NY.
