Mounting front license plate
Hello Friends, What is the correct way to mount the front license plate on the headlight bar. Should the clamp part of the mounting bracket be up or the square part when put together with plate ? Thanks Paul

Re: Mounting front license plate
Square part up.
Top holes of plate mounted with bolts in front of the clips.

Yep, when I got my first "A" the local club guys told me that is how you tell a "veteran A-er" from a newbie!

Re: Mounting front license plate
The Model A first had the mounting bolts below the headlamp bar, but changed to being above the bar. It's in the SERVICE BULLETINS.
