Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew if 35 rumble seat springs would mount up nice In a 1938 cabriolet rumble seat area. Little to no difference? My 38 has nothing there now. Thank you.

I think the deck lids are almost the same. The only difference is the striker is on the deck lid on 37-38.

Thanks for the information, I had a 35 rumble once, and in my mind I thought it might have been too small for my 38, but maybe a little small is better than too big. There is a set of new 35 springs on the journal for sale and about 10 miles from me, I think I will give them a try. Thanks again, I really need all the help I can get.

I'm thinking that they will fit.
You are close enough to try them out. That is the best way to find out.

Thanks guys! I took my decklid over there and the seat back fit like a glove. I think I am missing some hardware to attach seat bottom to floor, but for future reference 35/36 rumble seat seems to work just fine for a 38. Thanks again.
