Default Ford Parts Service pin?

Hi All,

About 5 1/2 years ago I asked on this forum about this pin. Since then I have not seen another or any information about it, does anyone have any information? I think it is some sort of service pin, possibly for years of service in the parts department or for the parts department manager. Below is what I posters to a thread titled "Employee Badges".

I realize this is not an employee badge, but an award pin probably for years of service. Can anyone provide information as to what it was awarded for, and the time frame when it was awarded such as the 50s, 60s, 70s etc. I found it at Iola in 2002 and it is the only one I have seen. It is about the size of a dime, is 10K gold, and has a diamond inserted.

Thanks

I'm sorry to say I have no information to add, but that thing is really cool! What a treasure....

If you have not, try posting on the other V8 forums. There is the possibility that it was something done thru one of the branches rather then factory as part of a promotion.

FWIW, I would assume that the diamond signifies 25 years.
