Looking Good Kube! Was just thinking about you and this thread the order day, great to see another update.

I know what you mean about that wait at the machine shop. I just had my first experience with one last week. What I was told would be 3 days ended up being 2 weeks....was worth it tho knowing the guy does good work although slow.

Looks great, Mike. Really spotless.

Can i just ask people in general that if they ever look at my stuff, not to do it immediately after looking at Mike's stuff.

Thanks.

Have the chassis prepared to drop the body next Monday. Earlier today, I was thinking back to the days when two of us could lift and place the body down. Those days are longggg gone
Monday, there will be four of us.
I used up my last remaining NOS exhaust system on this coupe.

Gosh Mike, that's beautiful. A great example to all restorers.

Thanks

Are there any restorers remaining?
I fear I am the last (or close to it) of a dying breed.
Makes me sad to realize our hobby is not what it once was.

It's always a relief when the body is down and there were no mishaps along the way.
Next step? I'll get the doors painted (they're ready to shoot) so I can install them and bolt the body down.

Wow....Another brand new eighty-year-old Ford about to begin the trip all over again, leading the 'good' life this time around. Once again.....'Perfection' out of Kubarth Acres! Very soon now, you WILL be duplicating THIS picture below, correct? DD

Guys, thanks a ton for the nice comments. Truthfully, I'm never 100% happy with what I do and don't feel worthy of your affirmations.
I DO appreciate them - just don't feel worthy...
I love this hobby.

You must love it Mike, it's obvious to anyone looking. I think you're doing a wonderful job. Certainly a level of quality I could never attain.
I'm heaping on the praise so you can question your worthiness more than normal.
Mart.

I really appreciate your talent that you put forth into these cars. Your attention to detail is beyond any person I’ve ever met. You have a gift. Thanks for sharing.
