Default Oil sending unit for a 1935 ford

I am having a difficult time locating the oil sending unit for my 1935 ford. I have contacted several vendors and all indicate that they do not have this item. Can anyone tell where I can purchase this item. Thanks for your help.

There is a used 35-42 Ford 50lb sender on Ebay right now for$50. Two NOS 50lb senders sold for $100 each if that tells you anything.

Good 50# oil pressure sending units are difficult to find. There should be some old posts in the archives here on that mention a 50# sending unit used in production and service of Mopar vehicles. If you are not concerned about authenticity, this may be a good option to persue.

You’ll need this to go with the Kaiser unit as it doesn’t fit the block.

I have acquired an 80lbs oil sending unit for my 1935 ford. Since I could not locate a 50lbs sending unit I am wondering whether the 80lbs unit will work. The oil gauge only goes up to 50lbs and my concern is that the 80lbs unit will peg the gauge and give me no useful information relative to oil pressure. I welcome your comments. Thanks for your help.

Look at post #4.Its a link to a 50 lb sender, then post #7 for the adapter.Your 80 lb sender will not work properly with a 50 lb gauge.

Do the sending units work and if so what is your asking price?
