Default Top band cross section

Greetings all,

I am curious to know if anyone might have a junk top band that they would be willing to cut and take a picture of the cross section? I have access to the tooling to reproduce this band but I need to know the shape of both the inner and outer pieces as well as the piece that ties into the door frame on each side.

The band I am talking about goes around the wood which sits on the body where the cloth top meets the body on the Business coupes. I believe this band may be on the sport coupes as well, but not sure.

As I recall, the band is about an inch wide and painted the same color as the rest of the trim on the car.
Thanks

Why not use the brass D molding from Universal Tire, start mid way and go around the back and sides forming in place then countersink holes for #8 brass wood screws, fill and paint, looks identical to the thin sheet metal part. I've had one on my Special coupe for 20 years.
It comes as a 7 ft. length and there's about 6 in. left after trimming both ends.

I'll second Barry's suggestion to go with Brass "D" Moulding. Don't go with aluminum as it grows too much in the sun and its hard to keep it fastened.
On the other hand, if you are going to reproduce this belt rail molding, you are probably going to be rich, (once the orders start flowing in). The last one I had a chance to buy was pretty ratty and went for $500!?!
