Default over drive solenoids

anyone used 1 of the new Chinese o/d solenoids?? I have 1 it works on bench test but on the car nothing so put my old 1 back on perfect ????

thanks for that dr brown what I cannot figure out is why this new 1 wont work in the car I did notice that the coil spring is not as heavy as old o/ds it test bench works but wont in car this is crazy

I was once told that a common problem is that the OD is not grounded - i.e. run a gnd wire to frame. Regardless, I expect this old-timer OD builder in Ohio can help .... gather as much info you can before you phone.

jim you made my day mate!!! 8.30 sunday morning here and you gave me a great laugh you aint got another I suppose with a longer gaurente ??

lol yes mate it has worked well its like my body overworked and in need of a real good tune up,,,hows the car coming on regards trev
