Interested in a useable distributor for a future project.. Engine is a 1984 Pre FI. I have other 351 W's that won't work.. Anyone have any help or ideas ?

Honestly, I would look into an HEI, they are about $85. Way less hassle, and less wiring. And for $85, cant really beat the price.

Have you checked with Advanced Auto ? I was buying 289/302 points distributors dirt cheap last year for engines I built for guys that wanted that factory look . Then I used a Pertronix conversion under the stock looking distributor .
Just a thought .

So can you tell us what the problem or difference is that you are having with a common 351w distributor that won't work ?
