Default Trim between upper and lower fender on a 41 Merc

I need to replace the welting on the stainless trim between the upper and lower front fenders on my 41 Merc. I can't not find this trim or replacement welting to slide back in. What has others done to install the trim between the front fenders? Thanks Rick

If you are talking about 3/16" dia stainless fender welting, Dennis Carpenter has it, as well as other vendors.
YOU have to cut, fit and form to fit.

I believe this is 41 Mercury only trim. There is also early 41 & late 41 Mercury trim just like the park lights. Early was die cast. Late was stainless.

This is different than the stainless fender welting. This is actually trim that the welting slides into and sandwiches in between the upper and lower fenders. I tried to upload a photo but my goofy butt can't figure out how to do it.
