4 cylinder Transmission/
I don't know the answer. I was approached by a restorer, and he asked was the transmission the same in the '33 four cylinder and the V8?
He is assembling a 1933 pickup. Thanks, Byron.

Re: 4 cylinder Transmission/
The V8 transmission is way not the same as the 4 cylinder. In the general sense of things, the Model B trans case is much more sought after. I recently bought a late '32 V8 case in clean painted condition for $5 and still wondered why I would ever use it. Only complaint that is not pure BS is that it's difficult to install the 15/29 tooth gearset and some clutches larger than 9" lack clearance. Back to the Model B case, which is mostly limited to use with the Model B pan and flywheel housing, a much superior setup for the strength it offers, but too many cars have limped along for decades with the sorry Model A flywheel housing that's guaranteed to flex and crack but seldom totally breaks. If that '33 pickup is to be a V8, then the Model B transmission case is not right. Good Luck: Fred A
