48 Ford Rear Brakes
Hi All, I'm replacing the rear brakes and want to replace the hubs. My drums have outside mounting hubs which I can't seem to find. So my question is, can I use the "inside mounting hubs & drums" without changing the bearing race???
Thanks for any advice Bruce |

Re: 48 Ford Rear Brakes
Yes, you can use the other style hubs with drums outside the hub. As far as I know, there are no replacements for the drums you have. There really is no races with the ford rear axle, the bearing rides on the axle ends for the inner race, and in the hub for the outer race.
